The Oakhurst Community Center is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors for the benefit of the Community. Many of the Directors are representatives from other community based organizations or service clubs. The onsite caretaker manages the facility.

The Community Center received a generous grant from Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians (Chukchansi Casino). This money has been used to upgrade both facilities. The Pavilion upgrade should be completed by May 2010.

The Oakhurst Community Center operates as a non profit for the benefit of community.
