The Oakhurst Community Center is home to every significant community event in the mountain community. It is the center piece for service club fundraising events and town hall meetings. Specialty groups like the Mountain Community Women meets here every month.

It is a great place for a weddings or other private affairs where a kitchen is required.

The Main building has a stage with a sound system, kitchen, wet bar and attached room big enough for staging a large event. The lobby separates the main hall from the restrooms and the main entrance.

The Main Hall has a capacity of 299 people.

The pavilion is a smaller building but has a assembly capacity of 187 or a dinning capacity of 102 . This building has its own commercial kitchen too. The Pavilion is currently being remodeled with a completion date in April 2010. The facility is available during certain periods until its completion.
